Michelle has worked as a GP with the Trans and Gender Diverse community since 2014.

Starting at Northside Clinic and working there for over 10 years, she has also worked at Equinox Trans and Gender Diverse Health Service and Your Community Health. She currently works part time with the Orygen/headspace Trans and Gender Diverse team, a statewide publicly funded service caring for Trans and Gender Diverse people aged 12-25 years old.

She also travels to Darwin several times a year, where she is one of a team of healthcare providers who help care for the Top End’s Trans and Gender Diverse community.

Michelle is passionate about improving the confidence and skills of GPs in providing care for Trans and Gender Diverse people, and to that end has worked and continues to work in creating and delivering training on gender affirming care for GPs.
